The Private Canon: Soundalike, Part 1

As I began to think about the next song I want to share in my private canon series, I found that I really wanted to start the post by just playing the tune for you and making you guess the name of the artist (you'll see why later). Of course, in this written format, that wouldn't be much fun, as not only would the suspense not last for very long—I actually couldn't think of a way to share the song that didn't involve sharing its YouTube clip, with the band and song clearly named. So I decided to tempt the copyright gods and post the song myself, sans band name and title...and invite you to offer your guesses in the comments. (If you definitely know the song and your name is not Cinco Paul, I salute you.)
